House Concerts

Folk Project special events include outstanding concerts with international and nationally recognized performers, dances, instructional vocal, songwriting and instrumental workshops, storytelling events, and house concerts.

Our House Concerts series helps to bring folk musicians into performance in intimate surroundings, the homes of our members. Sometimes these performances are associated with additional workshops, allowing attendees a chance to develop their own skills in a particular musical style.

Mile 12

Mile 12 is an exciting, young, and accomplished bluegrass and folk band with exquisite harmonies and overwhelming instrumental prowess. Besides putting on a great house concert, they love to jam and backup other folks, so they're perfect for our new house concert series. After the show, M12 will hang out for a potluck party and they will back up perforamnces by the audience. It's a great opportunity for local musicians, and a great Sunday afternoon for everyone. Admission is $20. Bring drink & snacks to share. Bring instruments to play. Bring your voice to sing and your smile to share.
